Made the trip from Saugatuck to St. Joseph. The day was sunny but a little too windy from the wrong direction to make the crossing to Chicago. Hoping to be able to be in Chicago sometime tomorrow afternoon, as the wave forecast looks better for tomorrow. In the meantime we're anchored in the St. Joseph River, out in front of The Inn at Harbor Shores and Plank's Tavern in St. Joseph, Michigan. Although the facility and the smell of delicious food wafting through the air seems quite tempting, we have decided to anchor again tonight, sip our wine on the top deck and eat leftovers. When in Chicago we won't be able to resist what downtown has to offer, so tonight is a good trade-off.
